"Our true selves are hidden. As artists we go through a process of self-disclosure when producing an artwork. A process of passing on information about ourselves to someone else.

Art is a reflection of the artist’s ability to disclose his or her inner experience very directly and accurately, who they are and their current life circumstances.

A piece of art is so much more than its aesthetic attributes. It’s a portal into the artist’s life and triggers an emotional response by the viewer. We make art because we are moved by something and that in itself reveals a bit about who the artist is.

I selected artworks for this Creative Block  selection that reveals something of their creators. Without presumption,  they communicate something in a way that words might never fully capture."
